Duncan: 7 Weeks Old

Seven weeks old today and still cute as a button! I just had a totally AWESOME week. I spent my very first Thanksgiving showing off my sweet side and my fussy side to my Uncle Trung, Auntie Heather, and cousin Logan! They made us a HUGE Thanksgiving dinner (on Sunday since they flew in on Thanksgiving day, but the actual day doesn't matter, it was an awesome meal)! Uncle & Auntie were total troopers and held me, rocked me, bounced me, & cuddled me even when I was at my worst. :) My cousin helped out just as much by singing songs to me to calm me down and reading books to me. I just love them so much and I just loved having them stay with me!

I was so sad to have my Uncle, Auntie, and cousin go that I doubled up the fussy for Mommy the next day. I was so angry at my Mommy's doctor appointment that the Doctor wanted to hold me at first while I was crying a little bit, then after not being able to console me, she handed me (screaming my head off) back to my Daddy and said to him, "You poor thing!"  :)

Duncan: 6 Weeks Old

I am getting so big!

This week:
-  I smiled for the first time! It was SO cute! (11/21/11)
    Mommy was so happy.  :)
-  I had my first ever HAPPY bath time! It was so nice (for all
    three of us!).

-  I've been enjoying more time with Daddy since he's had the entire
    Thanksgiving week off!

-  I made my very first trip to Trader Joe's w/ Mommy & Daddy!
    I got to hang out in the front pack and snoozed on the walk. :)
-  I took a (very angry) 1 hour car trip to Cupertino to have dinner with
    Andrew and Lee in their new place ! I loved hanging out with
    those guys! :) I just hate being in the car seat sometimes...

Yea, I'm still a little fussy often times, but I'm cute so it's easy for Mommy and Daddy to get over...

I think they secretly love holding & rocking me so much. :)

Duncan: 5 Weeks Old

I'm 5 weeks old and putting the "F" back in fussy!

This week:

-  I weigh  in at 9 lbs 12 oz!!

-  Sleeping is suddenly a new challenge!

-  Mommy managed to wrangle me into the stroller for an errand

    walk for just the two of us! She braved it and we made it with

    little crying.  :)

-  I've been to the night clinic due to a rough day of discomfort.

-  During awake times, I still enjoy playing on my activity gym

    and getting in a little tummy time.  :)

I've got acid reflux something fierce, and possibly other tummy troubles, so I am a Grumpy Gus often times.  I don't sleep very restfully, so neither do Mommy & Daddy.

Don't let this keep you from visiting, however! Mommy & Daddy would love the extra set of arms to rock me and console me. :)

Duncan: 4 Weeks Old

Yay! I'm one month old today!!

This week was full of new routines & faces for me:
-  Daddy went back to work, so it's just Mommy & Me at home
    (some days are better than others)
-  My Grandmom Neela came to visit me and spend the night!
-  Our good friend, Andrew, came to visit me!
-  I am gassy & uncomfortable laying flat on my back so I'm back
    to waking up every 2-3 hours. I might have acid reflux.  :(

What I've discovered:
-  I like it when Daddy reads Dr. Seuss' One Fish Two Fish to me.
-  I like it when Mommy sings ABC's and "Mary Had a Little Lamb" to me.
-  I love to be held and bounced on the exercise ball. A LOT!
-  I don't think I like my swing. I'd rather bounce.  :)

Duncan: 3 Weeks Old

21 days just flew on by, didn't they?  :)

This week, I had more fun adventures:
-  My cousins Jenny & Maggie came to visit!
-  I used a pacifier & a bottle for the first time without any trouble.
-  I made my first shopping trip with Mommy & Daddy (to Target)
    & I slept right through it! :)
-  I was a Banana for Halloween (no candy though...)
-  I started playing on my activity mat & love it!

My recent traumatizing event:
-  Being subjected to a professional photo shoot... I was NOT happy.
    I especially hated the being forced to be naked part.
