14 Weeks Today!

It is amazing that we've been at this for 14 weeks already.  I guess it helps that the first 6 weeks were unknown to us because we were so busy.

The pregnancy test came back positive on March 3rd and that changed everything!  The rest of March and early April was a haze of fatigue and endless naps (luckily, no morning sickness!), all the while trying to keep the wonderful secret from house guests, visitors, friends, and family - and there were A LOT of people in town during that time for some reason!  We were at the center of lots of suspicion but we straight-faced our way through all the allegations.  It was certainly tough, but we were able to deny, deny, deny with the best of them!

Getting through the 1st trimester has been such a relief!  Not only has the fatigue subsided tremendously, the fact that we were finally able to share the good news was fantastic!  Now we can just enjoy the anticipation of the next 6 months, which will surely be filled with much-appreciated support and advice from family and friends.  Feel free to give us any pointers.  We ARE newbies at this after all!

Fav craving right now:  Watermelon (fresh fruit or real juice)
Fav time of day:  8:00pm (foot rub time! Thanks, hunny!)
Fav response to our announcement:  "Holy sh*t!" (got 3 or 4 of those!)

QUESTION
Did any of you drink caffeine while you were pregnant?  I know it's recommended that you don't, but I would kick a puppy for an ice-cold diet coke these days...
