Duncan: 8 Months Old

Duncan is 8 months old today! Has it really been 8 months already?! It's all going by so fast. This is nuts!

This little guy has been SO much fun this month! Even with a week of the grumps due to teething, he has been a joy to be around. He loves to giggle, laugh, play, and give big cheesy grins. I just LOVE that little face!!

Every month we celebrate Duncan's big day with cupcakes! It's been our tradition to get as many cupcakes as he is months old. We loved this tradition because Mommy & Daddy had a reason to eat cupcakes every month! But now it's getting to be a lot of cupcakes for 2 people... So this month, we got mini-cupcakes. :)

What's new with Duncan this month:

-  He's got TWO teeth! (The bottom front)

-  He's sitting up by himself from hands & knees!

-  He's on the MOVE with his army crawl! (It's more like dragging his

    body forward with his arms) LOL

-  He's giving us hugs and kisses! (Well, mostly to Mommy) :)

-  He eats little pieces of broccoli, mangoes, & spinach whole. (He's just

    lazy about picking them up on his own)

-  Tonight we weighed him naked right before his bath: 20 lbs!!

What Duncan loves to do:

-  Play standing up against the couch or against the jumperoo

-  Jump IN the jumperoo like crazy!

-  Explore the entire living & dining room when left alone for 2 seconds

-  Eat!! He eats SO much food...

-  Laugh at the most random things

-  Read books with Daddy <3

-  Go on walks in his stroller

-  Play with his bucket of blocks

-  Play with and chew on his shoes

-  Try to climb out of his bath tub

We had a great month! Duncan is one awesome little dude and we can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans he comes up with this next month. Since he's right on the verge of crawling, I think we're in trouble!!
